One of the remains which existed at al-Baqee’ was Bait al-Ahzan (The house of mourning).  It was situated behind the Abbasiya dome.  This house concerns Sayyida Fatimat al-Zahra (AS).  She used to go to it after her father’s death.  The companions complained to Ameer al-Mou’mineen Ali (AS) of her continued mourning on her father’s loss.  Therefore, he built this house as a shelter for her.  However, the one who demolished the holy domes was he himself perished in it.
